How many cleanser does ones face need?

Here's a post about my current cleansers. Yes its plural. I have 6 different cleansers on the go at the moment.

They all function differently, some are similar consistencies and some are not.
The reason behind having 6 cleansers mainly is because I admit I am obsessed with skincare and
I prefer to use different ones at different times.

As you can see from the picture above I love French skincare. Clarins and Lancome are my favourite skincare brands.

Cleanser #1
No 7 Melting Gel Cleanser
I use when I have extra time to cleanse my face or when I feel my skin is slightly dehydrated.
It is basically a balm cleanser that transforms into a oil as you massage it into dry skin. When you add water to remove it becomes a milky cleanser. A luxurious cleanser perfect for when you want treat your skin.

Cleanser #2
Clarins Gentle Foaming Cleanser
As I can be prone to dry skin I would never usually use foaming cleansers as they tend to further dry out skin as they are more suitable for oily skin. This cleanser is specifically for dry or sensitive skin. Its super gentle foaming cleaner perfect for removing heavy make-up.

Cleanser #3
Clarins One-step Facial Cleanser
A brilliant water based cleanser. It contains orange extract which immediately wakes up your skin in the morning. Perfect for a quick cleanse in the morning.

Cleanser #4
Lancome Eau Micellaire Douceur
Another water cleanser. This is an amazing water cleanser that can remove face, lips and even eye make-up. I like to use this in the evening to remove most of my make-up before I use a milky cleanser with a muslin cloth.

Cleanser #5
Lancome Galateis Douceur
My 2nd favourite cleanser. I use this nearly every evening and every morning. It is a rich milky cleanser that I use to remove  make-up and dirt. In the evening I cleanse twice, in the morning only once. I like to use a muslin or cotton pads with this cleanser.

Cleanser #6
Lancome Huile Eclat
Last but certainly not least. I love love love this cleanser. Its a deep cleansing oil that smells absolutely amazing. I use this every time I'm in shower. To apply you massage into dry skin and then use warm water to emulsify and remove. This is actually my third purchase of this particular cleanser. My favourite, a real treat if I do say so.

Have you used any of these cleansers?
Are there any cleansers you would recommend?

Shopping Haul

Hello there beauties :-)

Last week I decided I was in need of a little retail therapy.
No clothing or jewellery purchases just beauty and toiletries.
I visited Boots and Superdrug and along the way I picked up a few items.

Have a look at my purchases :-)

First up a very exciting product ;-) Oral-B 3D White Toothpaste. I am such a sucker for whiting toothpastes I'm always trying something new. On offer in Superdrug for only €2, well worth trying out.

Next up, is the new L'oreal Elvive Extraordinary Oil. I purchased the one for coloured hair as I have Ombre hairstyle at the moment. The tips and ends of my hair are blonder than the roots and top which means of course that they are dryer. I usually use pure Argan Oil but I saw this was on offer in Boots and heard good reviews about it.

Dove Nourishing Oil Care Shampoo was on offer in Superdrug for only €1.50. I have used this twice since I bought it and I can safely say its brilliant. I'm actually going to back to purchase the whole range today. The Shampoo left my hair feeling
light weight and silky. I'm looking forward to trying the conditioner and treatment.

This may sound strange but one of my pet hates in putting on eye cream. Its such a chore having to be extra gentle around the eye area. I like to just slap on my moisturiser and go. This is a perfect product for a lazy girl. Simple revitalising eye roll-on, just roll and go.

I have repurchased my favourite day cream. Nivea Daily Essentials rich day cream. I think this might actually be my 6th repurchase. I just love this day cream its perfect for my sensitive skin and its not too rich. I actually bought two, there's an offer in Boots at the moment 2 for €6.  Bargain!

Lastly, is a product I have been considering purchasing for a long time. Sally Hansen Insta-Dri. Since coming across the beauty blogging community I have seen this top coat featured in many reviews, blogpost and tutorials. On offer in Superdrug for only €5, I couldn't say no.

Thats all for now my prettys.

Would you like to see reviews on any of these products?
Or
Have you reviewed any of these products?

Rose Gold Purchase

Ahhhhh.
I finally done it, I've purchased a Rose Gold watch!

Those of you that follow my blog may know that I love love Rose Gold and I have wanted a Rose Gold Watch for a long time. I have purchased Rose Gold bracelets and earrings in the past few months, blogpost here.

As you can probably tell this beautiful watch is from Next.

I have been considering purchasing one of the many Rose Gold watches available on the high street. I have actually done a blogpost on the River Island Rose Gold watches have a look here.

After much consideration decided not to purchases any of the watches from River Island and I couldn't decide. Boy was I glad I waited because two days later I bumped into this pretty piece of arm candy. I fell in love straight away and knew this was the Rose Gold watch for me.

ohh Yummy! Do you like it?

Next Rings

Do you shop at Next?

The reason I ask is because I rarely do but recently I have found myself purchasing a few different pieces there including jewellery clothing and home-ware.

I bought this set of rings to wear along with my Rose Gold bracelets which you can see in a previous post here

Although the rings are not actually rose gold the stone matches perfectly with the beaded stones on my new bracelets.

Ohhhh, matchy matchy :-)

What do you guys think?

Matchy Matchy

Do you ever match you eye make-up look with your nail varnish/nail art?

Sometimes I can act a little OCD about matching and coordinating things. When choosing outfits I like to make sure I have everything coordinated from head to toe. Make-up, clothes, accessories, nails, handbag and shoes.

This is make-up and nail combo I recently wore on a night out. As I was wearing an all black outfit I wanted to introduce a little bit of colour by using this dark emerald green nail polish and khaki green and emerald black eye make-up.

The four main beauty products I used to create this look.

Eyes
I decided on a sultry smoky eye using khaki greens
and emerald black.

No 7 Stay Perfect eye-shadow shade Khaki 40,
No7 Metallic eyes pencil shade Green both available here.
Bourjois little round pot shade 07 Noir Emeraude available here

Nails

H&M Moody Model available here

Are you guys a little bit like me?
Do you like to coordinate your beauty products with your outfit?
I would love to hear your thoughts on this.

Things I am currently loving

A bit of a random post for you today. A couple of things I am currently loving this month.

How cliché.
With everyone reading it and everyone talking about it I just had to. And I have to say I'm definitely enjoying it. So much so I going pick up the rest of the trilogy before enforcing a spending ban.

This shower cream is amazing!! I mean it, it smells exactly like vanilla and raspberry. A beautiful combo for the waking up anyone in the morning or for indulging in the evening.

I love love love this muesli.
Its available from Aldi in three different flavours; exotic, berry and nutty. So yummy and yet so healthy.

Magazines. I have been travelling a lot this month so I have picked up a couple of magazines along the way. I enjoy chilling out catching up on the latest beauty and fashions trends, and of course a little bit of gossip thrown in.

That's all for now.
Anything you are currently loving?
